Use JW Library to playback videos in Kingdom Hall

Now, a very good way is to use a Windows 10 desktop or laptop computer, installed with the JW Library app (Windows app from Store).


(A) Hardware Setup
At your kingdom hall AV console, prepare a Windows computer with JW Library app. The first screen/monitor is for the AV operator at AV console, the second screen/monitor is the kingdom hall TV screen(s). If you have multiple TVs, you will need a HDMI/SDI splitter to split the video signal.

Audio signal should go from the computer to the sound system. An audio sum-up box may be used to sum up the stereo signal before feeding back to the sound system. It will be a line level audio signal.

(B) Software Setting
(1) In Windows' "Display Setting", change the option "Multiple displays" to "Extend these displays".
(2) In JW Library main menu setting, go to "Settings", "Video Display", turn ON the option for "Play video on second display"


(C) How to Operate?
(1) In JW Libary, go to "Meetings", right click your mouse and select "Show Media". Meeting use videos and songs are all listed. Download them and they are ready to play for meeting use.
